Meezan Bank Executive Sells Shares Without Impacting Overall Stake

Karachi: An executive from Meezan Bank Limited has executed transactions involving the sale of shares in the bank, as disclosed under the Pakistan Stock Exchange regulation. The transactions, dated October 2, 2025, were carried out by Mr. Muhammad Farhan ul Hag Usmani, an executive of Meezan Bank, and were conducted in the Central Depository Company (CDC) market.

The details reveal that Mr. Usmani sold a total of 20,000 shares over two transactions. The first transaction involved the sale of 10,000 shares at a rate of PKR 450 per share, while the second transaction saw another 10,000 shares sold at PKR 470 per share. Both transactions were classified as 'Ready' in nature.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these sales did not result in any change in Mr. Usmani's cumulative shareholding percentage, which remains at 0%. The total number of shares held by Mr. Usmani after these transactions stands at 14,333 shares.
