Lahore: Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited has announced that seven individuals will serve as directors for the company following an uncontested election process. The election, which is governed by the Companies Act, 2017, will be conducted at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 28, 2025, at the Avari Hotel in Lahore.
The individuals who have filed to offer themselves for election include Mr. Mirza Iqbal, Mr. Khurram Javaid, Mr. Jamshed Iqbal, Mr. Muhammad Mateen Jamshed, Mrs. Samina Jamshed, Mr. Shoaib Ahmad Khan, and Mr. Muhammad Aslann Bhatti. Since the number of candidates does not exceed the number of available board positions, all seven candidates are deemed elected for a term of three years.

The company's announcement, in compliance with Section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017, also stated that notices of the directors' election would be published in Business Recorder and Nawa-e-waqt newspapers on October 16, 2025.
