Karachi: National Foods Limited has released its annual financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, showcasing a notable increase in profit alongside substantial movements in its asset and liability positions. According to the unconsolidated statement of financial position, National Foods' total assets increased to 27.10 billion Rupees from 25.82 billion Rupees the previous year. This growth is largely attributed to a rise in stock-in-trade, which surged to 8.34 billion Rupees from 6.57 billion Rupees, and an increase in cash and bank balances to 2.13 billion Rupees from 2.02 billion Rupees.
Conversely, the company's intangible assets experienced a decline, standing at 154.26 million Rupees compared to 280.61 million Rupees the prior year, indicating a significant move. Operating profit improved to 7.02 billion Rupees from 4.87 billion Rupees, while profit before income tax rose to 5.80 billion Rupees from 3.53 billion Rupees.
