National Refinery Shares Remain Steady Amid Varied Trading

Karachi, Shares of National Refinery Limited (NRL) saw a stable closing price on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) today, despite varying performances in different trading categories. The common stock (NRL) closed at PKR 299.52, with trading volumes reaching 1,107,685 shares. The opening and the highest prices were slightly above the closing, marked at PKR 300.9 and PKR 291.48, respectively.

In the options market, the National Refinery April futures (NRL-APR) slightly increased to close at PKR 300.48, from an opening price of PKR 299.11. A total of 642,500 shares were traded with the stock reaching a high of PKR 292.04.

For June futures (NRL-JUN), despite no shares traded, the theoretical closing price was noted at PKR 313.79 with a high of PKR 305.15, indicating potential investor interest in future outcomes.

May futures (NRL-MAY) exhibited more activity with 494,000 shares changing hands. The stock opened at PKR 304 and closed at PKR 305.41, showing a marginal increase throughout the trading day.
