Karachi: A notice was recently issued by Famco Share Registration Services Pvt Ltd regarding the loss of share certificates belonging to a shareholder of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL). The document, dated October 7, 2024, confirms that the shares were reported lost as of October 7, 2024.

According to the notice, the lost share certificates are registered under the name of Mr. Muhammad Azhar, residing at Margina Complex, Block 13-D-203, 2nd Floor Flat No. B, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The lost certificates, numbered 696226, encompass a total of 100 shares with distinctive numbers ranging from 75191501 to 75191600.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), all market participants have been instructed to note the contents of the announcement regarding these lost certificates. The PSX has been alerted to avoid any transactions with these shares until a fresh duplicate certificate is issued. The shareholders have a seven-day window to file any objections before the issuance of duplicate certificates.

The situation is being closely monitored by Famco, the registrar for PTCL, ensuring that the shareholder's rights are safeguarded during this period.
