Karachi: Olympia Mills Limited, a prominent player in the textile sector, announced its financial outcomes for the first quarter ended September 30, 2025, during a board meeting held in Karachi. The company reported a net profit of 6,780,813 rupees for the period, reflecting a decline from the 8,548,671 rupees recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This marks a significant move of a 20.72% decrease in net profits year-on-year.
According to the company's unaudited condensed interim financial statement, Olympia Mills generated a gross profit of 17,395,412 rupees, slightly down from 17,572,371 rupees in the previous year. Administrative and general expenses rose to 5,248,013 rupees from 4,329,259 rupees, contributing to the reduced profitability.
Income for the quarter increased to 51,981,946 rupees from 29,423,822 rupees in the previous year, indicating a robust revenue growth trajectory. Despite the revenue uptick, the direct operating expenses also saw an increase, reaching 34,586,534 rupees compared to 11,851,451 rupees in the previous year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Olympia Mills' total equity and liabilities stood at 711.35 million rupees as of the end of the quarter, compared to 703.08 million rupees as of June 30, 2025. The company's current liabilities decreased marginally to 426.76 million rupees from 431.07 million rupees, while non-current liabilities rose to 2.92 million rupees from 2.74 million rupees in the previous quarter.
The board declared no cash dividends, bonus shares, or rights shares for the quarter. The share capital remained stable at 120 million rupees, with revenue reserves slightly improving to a deficit of 522.91 million rupees from a deficit of 529.69 million rupees.
In terms of assets, the company's non-current assets were valued at 626.56 million rupees, down from 628.01 million rupees, whereas current assets increased to 84.79 million rupees from 75.07 million rupees.
