Pak Datacom Shareholders Approve Key Resolutions at Annual Meeting

Karachi: Shareholders of Pak Datacom Ltd convened on October 27, 2025, for the company's 33rd Annual General Meeting, where several significant resolutions were adopted. These decisions come as part of the company's ongoing efforts to maintain transparency and operational efficiency.

The meeting began with a resolution to receive, consider, and approve the audited accounts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The shareholders, after thorough examination, endorsed the adoption of these accounts, which included the Chairman's Review, Directors', and Auditors' Reports.

The shareholders also approved a notable financial decision regarding the payment of a final cash dividend. The Board of Directors' recommendation for a 60% final cash dividend, translating to Rs. 6.00 per share, was accepted. This decision will benefit shareholders recorded in the Register of Members as of October 17, 2025.

In another key move, M/s BDO Ebrahim & Co., Chartered Accountants were reappointed as the company's auditors for the financial year ending June 30, 2026. The appointment was ratified at a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,714,000, covering statutory and interim audits, as well as certifications, with additional provisions for out-of-pocket expenses.

Furthermore, shareholders approved a resolution to pay an annual honorarium of Rs. 300,000 to each Board member, reinforcing the company's commitment to recognizing the contributions of its leadership team.
