Pakistan Hotels Developers Limited Announces Board Meeting to Discuss Voluntary Winding-Up and Liquidation

Karachi: Pakistan Hotels Developers Limited has scheduled a board meeting on December 2, 2024, in Karachi to discuss significant corporate decisions, including the voluntary winding-up of the company. The agenda for the meeting includes the consideration and approval of the Declaration of Solvency, the appointment of a liquidator, and the determination of their remuneration. Additionally, the board will fix the date and time for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) and the closure of share transfer books.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has declared a "Closed Period" from November 26, 2024, to December 2, 2024, as mandated under clause 5.6.1(d) of PSX Regulations. During this period, no director, CEO, or executive will be allowed to engage in trading the company's shares, either directly or indirectly. The company has requested that the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange be informed accordingly.
