Pakistan Oil Fields Limited Announces Significant Dividend Amid Nil Bonus and Right Shares

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Oil Fields Limited (POL) announced its financial results for the year ending June 30, 2025, during a board meeting on August 11, 2025, at POL House Morgah, Rawalpindi. The company declared a substantial cash dividend while opting not to issue any bonus or right shares.

According to the board's recommendation, a final cash dividend of Rs. 50.00 per share, equivalent to 500%, will be distributed for the fiscal year. This dividend is in addition to the interim dividends previously disbursed at Rs. 25.00 per share, equating to 250%. The decision underscores a significant move by POL to reward its shareholders with a considerable return on their investment.

In contrast, the board has decided against issuing bonus shares or right shares. Both bonus and right shares are marked at Nil percent, reflecting a decision to focus solely on cash dividends for the period under review. This decision comes as part of the company's ongoing evaluation of its financial strategies and market conditions.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's decision highlights its commitment to maintaining shareholder value through direct cash returns rather than expanding equity through bonus or rights issuance.

The financial statements, both separate and consolidated, have been attached and will be discussed further during the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for October 15, 2025, at Attock House Morgah, Rawalpindi. The meeting will offer shareholders an avenue to engage with the board and discuss the financial trajectory of the company.

The entitlement to the final cash dividend will be accessible to shareholders listed in the Register of Members as of October 08, 2025. The company's share transfer books will remain closed from October 09, 2025, to October 15, 2025, to finalize dividend distribution logistics.

The annual report for POL will be disseminated through PUCARS, ensuring transparency and timely access to financial data for stakeholders ahead of the AGM.
