Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has introduced an upgraded suite of corporate services for the fiscal year 2024-25, aimed at enhancing the investor relations, corporate affairs, and regulatory compliance of listed companies. The exchange, serving as a frontline regulator, has tailored these services to provide a comprehensive, one-stop solution to improve corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the enhanced Suite of Corporate Services includes various training and certification programs, such as the Directors Training Program (DTP) facilitated by the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG). These programs are designed to bolster the expertise of company directors in managing corporate and regulatory challenges effectively.
The newly introduced packages are structured into two main categories: the Foundation Package and the Advanced Package. The Foundation Package, priced at PKR 175,000 plus tax for the basic version and PKR 240,000 plus tax for the premium, offers essential services such as one to two corporate analyst briefings and a session on PUCARS Interface orientation. Additionally, it includes a complimentary Investor Awareness Session aimed at educating the staff of listed companies about investment fundamentals.
The Advanced Package, significantly broader, is offered at PKR 550,000 plus tax for the basic level and PKR 950,000 plus tax for the premium version. This package includes enhanced features such as two DTP certifications, multiple workshops conducted by PICG, and specialized regulatory affairs training for company secretaries. Notably, the Advanced Package also allows access to auditorium facilities for hosting large corporate analyst briefings, complete with multimedia setups and internet connectivity, accommodating 80 to 100 attendees.
These offerings highlight PSX's commitment to fostering a robust environment for corporate governance and regulatory compliance among its listed companies. The registration for these packages is open until October 10, 2024, with the Advanced Package available for purchase until August 2025.
