Karachi: In a recent notification, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) detailed the upcoming scheduled maintenance of the NADRA system, impacting various online services crucial for trading activities. The maintenance, which is a rescheduling of previous plans, is now set to begin on September 27, 2024, at 10:00 PM and will conclude on September 28, 2024, at 01:00 AM.

Initially notified in Circular No. NCCPL/CM/SEPTEMBER-24/10 dated September 26, 2024, the revised timing was communicated by NADRA Technologies Limited (NTL), the entity responsible for the upgrade. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the maintenance will cause a temporary disruption in the NCCPL Online Account Processing Services and Biometric Verification Services. These services will be unavailable starting from 09:00 PM on September 27, 2024, until 02:00 AM on September 28, 2024.

The rescheduling is expected to affect all Authorized Intermediaries (AIs) and Clearing Members (CMs) associated with PSX, who rely on these systems for daily trading and verification processes. The PSX advises all members to adjust their schedules and plan accordingly to mitigate any potential disruptions during this period.
