Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has issued a Risk Warning Alert against Aruj Industries Limited, effective from July 29, 2025, due to continued non-compliance with regulatory requirements. This action follows an earlier notice by PSX, dated April 28, 2025, which highlighted Aruj Industries' failure to pay a penalty imposed by the PSX under specific regulations.
The company was initially given a 90-day period, concluding on July 28, 2025, to address the non-compliance issue outlined in PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(d). However, Aruj Industries has not fulfilled the necessary obligations within the stipulated timeframe. As a result, under PSX Regulation 5.11.3.(d), a Risk Warning Alert has been activated, placing the company in the Non-Compliant Segment or the Winding-Up Segment, both of which are segments designated for entities that pose a risk of trading suspension or delisting from the exchange.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Aruj Industries now has an additional 90 days, up to October 27, 2025, to rectify the non-compliance by settling the outstanding dues. Failure to comply may lead to further actions as specified under clause 5.11.3.(e) of the PSX Regulations, including the potential issuance of a compulsory buy-back direction to the sponsors and majority shareholders of the company.
This development underscores the ongoing regulatory scrutiny and enforcement measures undertaken by the PSX to uphold compliance and transparency within the market. Aruj Industries will need to address these regulatory issues promptly to avoid potential trading disruptions or further sanctions.
