Pakistan Stock Exchange Revises Trading Schedule for Lotte Chemical Due to Contract Split

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced a revised trading and settlement schedule for Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited due to the book closure date, affecting deliverable future contracts for the months of July, August, and September 2026. The adjustment follows previous notifications issued by the PSX on April 24, May 29, and June 24, 2026.

The revised schedule specifies that for the July contract, trading commenced on April 27, 2026, and will close on July 22, 2026, with settlement on July 23, 2026. Similarly, for the August contract, trading began on June 1, 2026, with the same closing and settlement dates as the July contract. The September contract opened on June 29, 2026, also closing on July 22, 2026, and settling on July 23, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the revised schedule without entitlement benefits will see new contracts opening on July 20, 2026. The JULB contract will close on July 31, 2026, with settlement on August 3, 2026. The AUGB contract will close on August 28, 2026, settling on August 31, 2026. The SEPB contract will close on September 25, 2026, with settlement on September 28, 2026.

The overlapping period for these contracts will occur over three trading days, from July 20 to July 22, 2026. During this time, trades in Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited shares under the JULB, AUGB, and SEPB contracts will be on an ex-benefit basis, meaning they will not be eligible for entitlement.

PSX retains the right to modify the dates or adjust the contracts as necessary. Market participants are advised to take note of these changes to plan their trading activities accordingly.
