Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has detailed the trading and settlement schedule for Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) for November 2024, highlighting the structured framework for future securities transactions. The contracts are scheduled to open on 02-Sep-2024 and close on 29-Nov-2024, with settlement planned for 03-Dec-2024, all falling on business days.

This announcement specifies the operational dates for the DFC-Nov-2024, including a comprehensive list of the securities eligible for trading. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the initiative aims to provide clarity and enhance transparency in the trading of future contracts, facilitating better planning and execution of strategies by market participants.

Additionally, trading in the shares of certain securities such as Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, BankIslami Pakistan Limited, Faysal Bank Limited, Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, Habib Bank Limited, and Lalpir Power Limited will not be eligible for the payment of benefits during this period due to the book closure date notified by these companies. These shares will be traded on an ex-benefit basis.
