Karachi: Trading in the shares of M/s. Fatima Enterprises Limited will continue to be suspended for an additional 60 days beginning September 16, 2024, or until the company addresses compliance issues, as announced by the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
This decision follows the initial suspension detailed in PSX Notice No. PSX/N-668 dated July 15, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the extension comes as a result of Fatima Enterprises Limited's failure to convene its Annual General Meetings, submit annual audited financial statements, and settle outstanding dues with the exchange. These violations pertain specifically to Clause 5.11.1.(b)(c)(d) of PSX Regulations.
The suspension will remain in effect until the aforementioned issues are resolved or until the new deadline passes. The enforcement of this suspension is a measure taken under the authority granted by Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations, aiming to uphold market integrity and protect investor interests.
