Redco Textiles Reports Financial Results with No Dividends or Bonuses

Islamabad: Redco Textiles Limited has announced its financial results for the year ending June 30, 2025, during a board meeting held on October 3, 2025, at its registered office in Islamabad. The company reported no cash dividends, bonus shares, right shares, or other entitlements for the period under review.

According to the statement of financial position, Redco Textiles Limited's total assets amounted to approximately 4.10 billion, compared to 3.80 billion in the previous year. The company's issued, subscribed, and paid-up capital remained steady at 492.93 million. The surplus on the revaluation of property, plant, and equipment, net of tax, was reported at 846.67 million, while the accumulated loss stood at 240.03 million.

The company's non-current liabilities totaled 139.08 million, with staff retirement benefits and deferred taxation contributing to this figure. Current liabilities were recorded at 2.79 billion, including trade and other payables, short-term borrowings from associated undertakings, and directors.

The profit and loss statement shows a net sales figure of 1.80 billion, up from 1.47 billion the previous year, resulting in a gross profit of 259.15 million. Operating profit was recorded at 207.98 million, up from 60.98 million. Despite the increase in gross profit, the company's profit for the year decreased to 175.63 million from 212.08 million, resulting in earnings per share of 3.563, a minor move from the previous 4.302.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Redco Textiles Limited's financial performance presented a mixed picture with a decrease in profit for the year despite an increase in sales and operating profit.

The company plans to hold its Annual General Meeting on October 28, 2025, at its registered office in Islamabad. Share transfer books will be closed from October 21 to October 28, 2025. The annual report will be transmitted through PUCARS at least 21 days before the Annual General Meeting.
