Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced a revised trading and settlement schedule for the deliverable future contracts (DFC) of TRG Pakistan Limited. This revision follows the announcement of a book closure date, impacting DFC-JUN-2025, DFC-JUL-2025, and DFC-AUG-2025, as previously notified on March 27, April 25, and May 30 of this year.
For TRG Pakistan Limited, the trading and settlement schedule on a cum-benefit basis is set as follows: the June contract opened on April 3, 2025, with a closing date on June 16, 2025, and settlement on June 18, 2025. The July contract opened on April 28, 2025, also closing on June 16, with settlement on June 18. Similarly, the August contract began on June 2, 2025, with the same closing and settlement dates as the previous contracts.
The schedule for trading and settlement without the entitlement of benefits is as follows: the June B contract opens on June 12, 2025, closing on June 27, 2025, with settlement on July 2, 2025. The July B contract also opens on June 12, closing on July 25, with settlement on July 29. The August B contract opens on June 12, closing on August 29, with settlement on September 2.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), there will be no price adjustment in the B contracts for TRG Pakistan Limited. Additionally, trades in JUNB, JULB, and AUGB contracts will not be eligible for entitlements and will be traded on an ex-benefit basis. The overlapping period for the security is set for three trading days, from June 12 to June 16, 2025.
The PSX reserves the right to alter or vary the dates or adjust the length of the contracts should the necessity arise. This announcement is in line with the company’s notice dated June 5, 2025.
