Revised Trading Schedule Announced Due to Future Contracts Split

Karachi: In light of recent announcements regarding book closure dates for several companies, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has released a revised trading and settlement schedule for the Deliverable Future Contracts (DFCs) of October and November 2026. This update, detailed in the PSX report dated September 18, 2026, affects notable companies including Attock Refinery Limited, Cherat Cement Company Limited, and The Hub Power Company Limited, among others.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the revised schedule indicates that for the companies listed, the trading and settlement on a cum-benefit basis will close on September 25, 2026, with settlement following on September 28, 2026. This adjustment pertains to both the October and November contracts, originally notified in notices PSX/N-956 and PSX/N-1067.

Furthermore, for trading without entitlement of benefit, the schedule specifies that contracts will open on September 21, 2026, with closure for the October contracts occurring on October 30, 2026, and settlement on November 2, 2026. The November contracts will close on November 27, 2026, with settlement on November 30, 2026.

The affected companies, including Fast Cables Limited, Ghandhara Automobiles Limited, and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, are expected to adhere to these new schedules. This adjustment is crucial for market participants to align their trading activities accordingly.
