Karachi: Sakrand Sugar Mills Ltd has reported the loss of several original share certificates owned by shareholder Haji Sattar Motiwala. The company disclosed this information in a notice dated May 30, 2025. The notice requests that members of the exchange refrain from dealing in the affected share certificates, pending further notice.

According to the details provided by the company, the missing certificates include three distinct sets. The first set is associated with share certificate numbers 82370 to 82371, covering distinctive numbers 8236701 to 8236900, totaling 200 shares. The second set pertains to share certificate numbers 83399 to 83400, corresponding to distinctive numbers 8339601 to 8339800, also totaling 200 shares. The final set involves share certificate number 193242, covering distinctive numbers 21622940 to 21623039, amounting to 100 shares. In total, 500 shares have been reported as misplaced.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Sakrand Sugar Mills Ltd has advised that if no objections or claims are received within seven days from the date of the notice, the company will proceed with issuing duplicate share certificates to the affected shareholder.
