Sally Textile Mills Limited Reports Continued Losses Amidst Operational Halt

Karachi: The Directors of Sally Textile Mills Limited have released the un-audited condensed interim financial statements for the quarter ending September 30, 2026. The report, dated October 29, 2026, details the company's ongoing financial challenges amidst a continued halt in operational activities.

The company's financial performance for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, showed no turnover, mirroring the same period from the previous year when turnover was also nil. This stagnation results from the company remaining non-operational, with no production activities conducted during the reviewed quarter.

Despite the operational standstill, the company reported a reduction in gross loss, which decreased to Rs. 6,792 million from Rs. 7,212 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The loss before and after tax stood at Rs. 7.987 million, compared to Rs. 8.447 million in the corresponding period last year. This translates to a loss per share of Rs. 0.91, slightly improved from a loss per share of Rs. 0.96 in the prior year.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), there was a moderate move in the company's financial outcomes, reflecting the decreased losses. The performance mainly reflects the administrative and other corporate expenses incurred during the period.

The Directors assured stakeholders that all necessary disclosures under the Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations, 2019 have been made in the financial statements. Despite the current financial hurdles, the company remains committed to transparent corporate governance practices.
