Salman Noman Enterprises Reports Continued Financial Losses Amidst Operational Challenges

Lahore: Salman Noman Enterprises Ltd has disclosed its un-audited financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, revealing sustained financial losses. The Board of Directors, in a meeting held on February 28, 2025, did not recommend any dividend for the aforementioned quarter.

For the quarter ending December 31, 2025, the company recorded a total comprehensive loss of 5.55 million rupees, a slight improvement compared to the 5.90 million rupee loss reported in the same quarter the previous year. Similarly, the half-year results showed a comprehensive loss of 11.28 million rupees, compared to a loss of 11.79 million rupees for the corresponding period in 2024. This represents a moderate move in financial performance.

Administrative expenses for the half-year increased to 196,335 rupees from 105,225 rupees in the previous year, while other operating expenses totaled 11.09 million rupees, down from 11.68 million rupees. The loss per share, both basic and diluted, for the quarter stood at 1.24 rupees, a decrease from 1.32 rupees in the previous year.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Salman Noman Enterprises Ltd's financial position at the end of December 2025 shows accumulated losses reaching 790.69 million rupees, up from 783.61 million rupees in June 2025. The statement of financial position highlights a revaluation surplus on property, plant, and equipment of 252.17 million rupees, a decrease from 256.38 million rupees recorded six months earlier.

The company's current liabilities stood at 937.05 million rupees, with trade and other payables amounting to 445.72 million rupees. Short-term borrowings from financial institutions and related parties were reported at 168.69 million rupees and 10.02 million rupees, respectively.

Despite the reported financial challenges, the company did not report any change in cash and bank balances, maintaining the figure at 252,511 rupees from the beginning to the end of the period. The half-yearly report is set to be transmitted electronically through the Pakistan Unified Corporation Action Reporting System (PUCARS) in due course, as per the company's statement.
