Lahore: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has announced a strategic acquisition aimed at bolstering its future business needs. The company disclosed on October 6, 2026, that it has purchased a parcel of land measuring nearly 26.7 Kanals, valued at approximately 867.75 million rupees. This acquisition is located on the main Raiwind Road in Lahore, adjacent to Sazgar's existing Three Wheelers Unit.

This move signifies the company's commitment to expanding its operational capacity in the designated market category of engineering and manufacturing. The newly acquired land is expected to support the company’s growth and align with its long-term business strategies.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transaction is in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, as well as Clause 5.6.1 (a) of the PSX Regulations. The purchase price excludes any incidental taxes and expenses, indicating a focused effort on securing the land for future development.
