Security Leasing Corporation Reports Earnings for Third Quarter of 2024

Islamabad: Security Leasing Corporation Limited has disclosed its financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2024, marking an uptick in profits despite the challenges in the market.

According to the unaudited financial statement released to the public, the corporation reported a net income of PKR 820.06 million for the quarter, up from PKR 1.17 billion in the same period last year. This indicates a shift in the company's financial dynamics, focusing more on strategic adjustments during a volatile fiscal period. The reported revenue for the quarter stood at PKR 4.10 billion, maintaining the same level as the previous year’s PKR 3.60 billion.

Administrative and selling expenses, along with finance costs, totaled PKR 3.28 billion, which is a slight increase from last year's PKR 2.42 billion. These figures underscore the company's ongoing efforts to streamline operations and manage costs effectively.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Security Leasing Corporation Limited's earning per share has slightly adjusted to PKR 0.02, compared to PKR 0.03 in September 2023. This minor fluctuation reflects broader economic conditions and the company’s strategic initiatives to stabilize its financial footing amidst market shifts.

The company's financial disclosure, signed off by Chief Executive Officer M. Yaqoob, Chief Financial Officer Muhammad Farooq, and Chairman Naik Zahid Hussain, provides a clear snapshot of its fiscal health as it continues to navigate the complexities of the financial leasing market.
