Karachi: A formal notice of loss has been issued regarding several share certificates of Pakistan Petroleum Limited, which were reported missing on October 4, 2024, according to a document from Famco Share Registration Services. The lost share certificates involve a total of 242 shares under the name of Mr. Raja Azeem Afzal, whose address is listed as Shahjum Builders opposite Eden Avenue, Defence Road Lahore.

The notice, addressed to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, details the distinct numbers and certificate numbers for each set of shares. Specifically, 100 shares under certificate number 149124, another 100 shares under certificate number 149125, and 42 shares under certificate number 149126 have been reported lost. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these certificates bear the distinctive numbers 980062601 to 980062700, 980062701 to 980062800, and 980062801 to 980062842 respectively.

Famco Share Registration Services has advised all market participants and members of the Exchange to refrain from dealing in these shares and to report any related concerns. If no objections are received within 7 days of the notice's publication, new duplicate certificates will be issued to Mr. Afzal. The registration company has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the integrity of shareholdings and the swift resolution of such incidents.
