Karachi: Famco Share Registration Services, acting on behalf of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), has issued a formal notice to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regarding the loss of share certificates. The announcement, dated October 1, 2024, specified that the lost shares are registered under the name of Mr. Azhar Ali Khan, with details of the certificates and shares provided for immediate circulation.

The document revealed that a total of 330 shares associated with certificate number 216950 and distinctive numbers 2268705060 to 2268705389 have been reported as missing as of October 1, 2024. The shares are linked to Mr. Khan’s address at D-516, Centrium Apartment, Block-21, F.B. Area, Karachi. Famco has requested that the Pakistan Stock Exchange notify its members and prevent any transactions involving these shares to avoid potential misuse.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), if no objections or claims are raised within seven days from the date of the notice's publication in the newspapers, duplicate certificates will be issued to the shareholder to rectify the situation.

This notice serves as a critical reminder for shareholders to safeguard their physical securities and to report any losses immediately to ensure prompt resolution and prevention of unauthorized transactions.
