Sitara Chemical Industries Limited Sees Financial Growth Amid Increased Liabilities

Karachi: Sitara Chemical Industries Limited has reported a notable financial performance for the fiscal year 2024-25, ending June 30, 2025. According to the company's financial results, there was a significant increase in both revenue and liabilities, indicating a period of substantial growth and investment.

The company's total equity and liabilities reached 47.51 billion rupees, an increase from 40.51 billion rupees the previous year. Notably, the company's share capital remained unchanged at 214.29 million rupees, while reserves rose to 1.57 billion rupees from 1.49 billion rupees. The unappropriated profit saw an increase to 13.40 billion rupees compared to the previous year's 12.46 billion rupees. Despite a decrease in the surplus on revaluation of property, plant, and equipment to 3.68 billion rupees from 3.89 billion rupees, the total equity increased to 18.87 billion rupees from 18.06 billion rupees.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Sitara Chemical Industries Limited's revenue from contracts with customers increased to 32.53 billion rupees from 31.11 billion rupees, reflecting a big move. The cost of sales also rose, reaching 26.91 billion rupees from 26.19 billion rupees, resulting in a gross profit of 5.62 billion rupees, up from 4.92 billion rupees.

In terms of cash flow, the net cash generated from operating activities saw a major increase, reaching 3.16 billion rupees, compared to 327.87 million rupees in the prior year.
