Karachi, Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited has credited a 25% final cash dividend for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023, as approved during its 18th Annual General Meeting on March 28, 2024. The dividend, amounting to Rs. 2.5 per share, was credited on April 16, 2024, through electronic transfers to shareholders who provided valid banking details, including a valid International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and a copy of their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

The bank noted compliance with Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017. It withheld dividends for shareholders who either did not provide bank account details or provided incorrect or incomplete information. Affected shareholders have been advised to contact the bank's Share Registrar, CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi or the Participant/Investor Account Services of the Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDCPL) to update their details and receive their dividends.

Furthermore, CDCPL has introduced the Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR), an e-Services web portal that records details of dividends paid, unpaid, or withheld by listed companies. This service aims to provide shareholders with access to their dividend histories and pertinent tax deductions. Shareholders interested in registering for e-Dividend services can do so through the CDCPL e-Services Portal.
