Karachi: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) has announced the appointment of Mr. Wajeeh Uddin Sheikh as the acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 27, 2024. This change comes as part of a broader executive reshuffle within the company’s leadership.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board of SSGCL made this decision through a Circular Resolution, assigning Mr. Sheikh to step into the CFO role for an interim period. Mr. Sheikh is succeeding Mr. Muhammad Amin Rajput, who has transitioned to the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director during this interim period.

The company has communicated this executive transition to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange, ensuring that all stakeholders are updated regarding the leadership changes. These shifts are pivotal as SSGCL continues to navigate through strategic operational phases and market demands.
