Suspension of Trading for Askari Bank’s Term Finance Certificate Announced

Islamabad: Trading in the Term Finance Certificate (TFC) of Askari Bank Limited, specifically AKBLTFC7, will be suspended from September 9, 2024, until September 16, 2024, due to a scheduled book closure for the 18th profit payment.

On September 5, 2024, Askari Bank Limited informed stakeholders about the upcoming book closure period from September 10, 2024, to September 16, 2024, which will facilitate the 18th profit payment on their TFC, known as AKBLTFC7. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the suspension is a standard procedure to ensure that all transactions and distributions are handled correctly during the book closure.

Trading of the AKBLTFC7 is set to resume on September 18, 2024, immediately following the book closure period. All concerned parties have been advised to take note of these dates to adjust their trading plans accordingly.
