Tata Textile Mills Limited Reports Financial Results, Announces Dividend Amid Operating Cash Flow Growth

Karachi: Tata Textile Mills Limited's Board of Directors has approved the financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, during a meeting held on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The company announced a final cash dividend of Rs. 5 per share, amounting to a 50% payout. No bonus shares, right shares, or other corporate actions were proposed.

The annual general meeting is set for October 27, 2026, at the Pakistan Stock Exchange's Dr. Shamshad Akhtar Auditorium in Karachi. Share transfer books will be closed from October 20 to October 27, 2026. Transfers must be completed by October 19, 2026, to be eligible for the dividend and participation in the meeting.

In the company's financial performance, profit before levies and taxation surged to Rs. 5,120.63 million, a significant increase from Rs. 2,107.63 million reported the previous year. Notably, Tata Textile Mills reported net cash generated from operating activities at Rs. 5,907.90 million, compared to a previous outflow of Rs. 8,749.35 million. This turnaround is attributed to an increase in operating cash flows before working capital changes, totaling Rs. 3,691.70 million.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's investing activities generated net cash of Rs. 188.53 million, while financing activities resulted in a net cash outflow of Rs. 4,389.92 million. Despite these dynamics, the company managed to achieve a net increase in cash and cash equivalents of Rs. 1,706.51 million.
