The Bank of Punjab Announces Book Closure for TFC Profit Payment

Lahore: The Bank of Punjab Limited has announced the book closure for the profit payment of its Term Finance Certificates (TFCs), specifically the BOP ADT-1 Capital TFC-2022, labeled as “BOPTFC2.” The profit payment date is set for June 20, 2026. To facilitate this, the bank has declared that the transfer books will remain closed from June 15, 2026, to June 20, 2026. Only TFC holders whose names are registered as of the end of business on June 12, 2026, will be eligible for this profit payment.

In alignment with the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited’s regulations, the bank is mandated to disburse profit payments directly into the International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) of the TFC holders. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this procedural requirement ensures compliance with Sub-Cause (i) of Clauses 5C.8 of PSX Regulations.

The bank has advised all TFC holders to update their bank account details, including their IBAN, in their respective Central Depository System (CDS) Accounts. Additionally, holders are urged to promptly notify the bank’s Registrar of any changes to their addresses or relevant details, such as tax status information, which includes whether they are filers, non-filers, or exempted.
