Trading Suspension of Apollo Textile Mills Limited Extended Due to Compliance Issues

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced the continuation of the trading suspension in the shares of M/s. Apollo Textile Mills Limited. This decision follows an earlier notice, PSX/N-442, dated April 30, 2025, and stems from the company's failure to address several compliance concerns as outlined in the PSX Regulations.

Apollo Textile Mills Limited has not rectified issues related to the suspension of its commercial production and business operations, failure to conduct annual general meetings, and non-submission of its annual audited accounts. Additionally, the company has pending dues to the Exchange, received a Disclaimer of Opinion in its audit report, and is subject to a winding-up petition filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in court.

The PSX has determined that trading in the company's shares will remain suspended until the identified causes are addressed or for another period of 60 days, starting from July 01, 2025. The decision is made under the authority granted by Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the suspension highlights the ongoing regulatory oversight efforts to ensure compliance and protect investor interests in the market. The designated market category of Apollo Textile Mills Limited remains affected, and stakeholders are advised to stay informed about any further developments regarding the company's compliance status.
