Trading Suspension of Mubarak Textile Mills Limited Extended by Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi: Mubarak Textile Mills Limited continues to face trading suspension in its shares as the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) announced an extension in the suspension period. The decision, effective from November 24, 2025, follows the company's ongoing failure to address critical compliance issues outlined by the exchange.

The suspension, initially disclosed in PSX Notice No.PSX/N-1028 dated September 24, 2025, remains in force due to Mubarak Textile Mills Limited's unresolved non-compliances. These include the halted operations in its principal line of business, an adverse opinion issued by its statutory auditor on the financial statements, and a winding-up petition filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in court.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has yet to rectify these issues. Consequently, trading in Mubarak Textile Mills Limited shares will remain suspended for an additional 60 days or until the company resolves the causes of suspension.

This action is taken under the authority granted by Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations. The market category affected is the designated trading sector of Mubarak Textile Mills Limited.
