Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced the continued suspension of trading in the shares of three companies due to unresolved regulatory issues, as stated in a report dated November 4, 2026.
The affected companies, Al-Abid Silk Mills Limited, Dewan Salman Fibre Limited, and Fatima Enterprise Limited, have not rectified the causes for suspension despite prior notices. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the ongoing suspension has been enacted under the powers vested in the Exchange by the Securities Act, 2015.
Al-Abid Silk Mills Limited and Dewan Salman Fibre Limited face suspension due to the cessation of their principal business operations. Additionally, both companies have received adverse opinions from auditors, and winding-up petitions have been filed in court by creditors, as well as orders from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to file winding-up petitions.
Fatima Enterprise Limited's suspension is attributed to its failure to hold annual general meetings, submit audited accounts, and settle dues with the Exchange.
The PSX has determined that trading in these companies' shares will remain suspended until the issues are resolved or for an additional period of 60 days beginning November 5, 2026. This decision is aligned with Clause 5.11 of the PSX Regulations.
