United Bank Limited Disburses Final Cash Dividend for 2025

Karachi: United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced the successful disbursement of its final cash dividend for the year 2025. According to the official communication dated April 1, 2026, the bank has credited a final cash dividend of Rs. 8 per share, equivalent to a 160% payout, directly into the bank accounts designated by its shareholders. This decision was first declared by UBL’s Board of Directors during a meeting on February 25, 2026, and subsequently approved during the bank’s 67th Annual General Meeting on March 26, 2026.

The bank has withheld the dividend from shareholders who have yet to provide the necessary documentation, including valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) or Passport Numbers and complete bank account details, as stipulated by Regulation No. 06 of the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, in conjunction with Section 242 (3) of the Companies Act, 2017.

To assist shareholders, the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Ltd (CDC) has developed an eService web portal. This portal offers detailed information on cash dividends paid, Zakat, tax deductions, and any unpaid or withheld dividends by listed companies. The Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR) maintains a comprehensive history of dividends paid to shareholders by these companies.

Shareholders are encouraged to access the CCDR through https://csp.cdcaccess.com.pk. Registration on this eService portal will enable shareholders to avail themselves of detailed dividend-related services. In cases where the dividend has not been received, shareholders are advised to contact UBL’s Share Registrar with a written request, including their Folio or CDC Account Number.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the industry awaits further updates as UBL continues to engage with its shareholders to resolve any outstanding issues related to the dividend disbursement.
