WorldCall Telecom Limited Reports Significant Financial Growth Amid Strategy Transformation

Karachi: WorldCall Telecom Limited has reported significant financial growth and transformation, as presented in its latest corporate briefing session. The report, dated August 3, 2026, highlights the company's robust financial performance from 2022 to 2025, indicating a period marked by strategic enhancements and substantial revenue growth.

According to the income statement, WorldCall Telecom Limited's revenue surged to PKR 5.99 billion by December 2025, up from PKR 5.05 billion in December 2024. This growth reflects a 19% increase from 2024 to 2025, following an impressive 71% growth from 2023 to 2024. The telecom sector alone contributed a 10% increase in revenue during 2024-2025.

The company’s strategy to enhance service operations in the non-telecom domain resulted in a remarkable 129% growth in technology revenue for the same period. This focus on technology has significantly boosted the company's EBITDA, which rose by 319% from 2024 to 2025, following a 142% increase from 2023 to 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these financial metrics underscore WorldCall Telecom Limited's ongoing transformation and the successful execution of its business strategy. The company's direct costs increased to PKR 5.42 billion in 2025 from PKR 4.65 billion in 2024, while operating costs decreased from PKR 430 million in 2024 to PKR 366 million in 2025.

Other income saw a significant increase to PKR 529 million in 2025, compared to PKR 212 million in 2024. Despite the rise in finance costs to PKR 468 million, the profit before taxation marked a recovery, narrowing the loss to PKR 376 million in 2025 from PKR 1.30 billion in 2024. After accounting for taxation, the company's net loss after taxation was PKR 456 million in 2025, compared to PKR 1.36 billion in the previous year.
