Lahore: Zahur Cotton Mills Limited has officially announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ending on 30th June 2024 will be held on 28th October 2024. The meeting is scheduled to commence at the company’s registered office located at Lahore.

The meeting’s agenda will include the confirmation of the minutes from the last AGM held on 27th November 2023. Additionally, shareholders will receive, consider, and adopt the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the year concluded on 30th June 2024, which encompasses both the Directors’ and Auditors’ reports.

A key item on the agenda will be the appointment of auditors for the upcoming fiscal year ending 30th June 2025 and the determination of their remuneration. The meeting will also allow for the discussion of any other business that may arise, with the permission of the chair.

The company has further advised that the Share Transfer Books will be closed from 22nd October to 28th October 2024, inclusive of both days. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders looking to attend the AGM must ensure that transfers received at the office of the company’s Share Registrar, M/s Corplink (Private) Limited in Lahore, by the close of business on 21st October 2024 will be processed in time.
