Karachi: Zuma Resources Limited has announced the establishment of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Zuma Global Ltd, in the United Kingdom as part of its strategic move to enhance its international presence in digital connectivity. The announcement was made as a formal disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange under relevant regulatory compliance guidelines.
Zuma Global Ltd was incorporated as a private limited company on September 18, 2026, under the Companies Act 2006 in England and Wales. The new entity is set to spearhead Zuma Resources' ambitions to expand its technology and connectivity business activities across international markets.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Zuma Global Ltd will focus on launching SIM and digital connectivity operations in the UK. This move includes the introduction of digital eSIMs and physical SIMs through the company’s technology platforms, including a global eSIM marketplace known as sim.market.
The decision to establish operations in the UK aligns with Zuma Resources' strategy to build a robust international digital connectivity and technology business. The United Kingdom is expected to serve as a significant market for the group's expansion efforts. As part of this market-entry process, Zuma Global Ltd has initiated regulatory engagement with Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, to comply with regulatory and consumer requirements for its SIM offerings.
Zuma Resources Limited will continue to update the Pakistan Stock Exchange and its shareholders about further developments as the UK operations progress. This expansion marks a pivotal step in the company's broader mission to enhance global connectivity solutions.
