Karachi: Several shareholders have reported the loss of their share certificates across multiple companies, triggering a standard procedure to issue duplicates unless claims arise within the specified timeframe.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Corplink (Pvt.) Ltd reported that Mr. Ghulam Sarwar has lost sixteen share certificates covering 1,407 shares of Highnoon Laboratories Limited. These certificates range from numbers 50741 to 118644, with distinctive numbers spanning from 5073601 to 41902334.
Similarly, Shifa International Hospitals Limited faces a report from two shareholders, Mrs. Najma Tasneem and Mrs. Saima Faryal, who collectively reported the loss of ten certificates covering 1,000 shares. Their certificates, numbered from 8975 to 8989, encompass distinctive numbers from 43326001 to 43327500.
In a separate incident, Mr. Shahid Munawar reported the loss of one share certificate representing 56 shares of Pak Elektron Limited, with certificate number 142695 and distinctive numbers from 13159734 to 13159789.
Corplink has announced that if no claims are made, duplicate certificates for these shares will be issued seven days after the circular date issued by the Pakistan Stock Exchange. This notice aims to alert potential claimants and streamline the replacement process for the lost certificates.
