Bank of Punjab Schedules Board Meeting to Review Q3 Financials

Karachi: The Bank of Punjab (BOP) has announced a board meeting on October 30, 2024, to review the quarterly un-audited financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024. This meeting will be held at Lahore.

The notification, addressed to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, Karachi, details that the directors will convene to scrutinize the bank's financial performance alongside other agenda items. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the review is critical for assessing the bank’s fiscal health and strategic direction moving forward.

In compliance with PSX Rule Book, Rule 5.6.4, BOP has also declared a "Closed Period" from October 22, 2024, to October 30, 2024, during which no director, chairman, CEO, or other executives are permitted to trade BOP shares. This measure is to prevent any conflict of interest that might arise from the accessibility of insider information.

The bank has also communicated to the Pakistan Stock Exchange that the outcomes of the meeting will be transmitted through PUCARS, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
