Karachi: Symmetry Group Limited has disclosed a significant transaction involving the company’s shares, executed by a senior executive, as per the regulatory filings with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). On July 2, 2025, Syed Sarocsh Ahmed, an Executive Director of Symmetry Group Limited, transferred five million shares of the company as a gift. This transaction was conducted through the Central Depository Company (CDC), a primary platform for such exchanges in the market.



The shares, valued at zero for this particular transfer, were gifted out, altering the cumulative holdings of Mr. Ahmed. Following this transaction, the executive now holds a total of 79.65 million shares, which represents 27.92% of the company’s total shares. This kind of transaction is not uncommon among executives, where shares are often transferred as gifts, impacting the overall share distribution within the company.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), transactions like these are governed under PSX Regulation 5.6.4, which requires disclosure of interest by relevant persons holding company shares.
