Mehran Sugar Mills Declares Second Interim Cash Dividend Amid Financial Review

Karachi: Mehran Sugar Mills Limited has announced a second interim cash dividend for the third quarter ending June 30, 2025, at a rate of 15% or Rs 1.5 per share. This cash dividend is in addition to the first interim cash dividend already distributed at a rate of 10% or Re 1 per share. The decision was made by the Board of Directors during a meeting at the company's registered office on July 28, 2025, where they approved the reviewed condensed interim financial statements for the quarter.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), there were no recommendations for bonus shares, right shares, or any other entitlements or corporate actions for this period. The company plans to transmit the financial statements electronically via the Pakistan Unified Corporate Reporting System (PUCARS).

The share transfer books of Mehran Sugar Mills will be closed from August 6 to August 8, 2025, to determine the entitlement of the dividend. Shares transferred by the close of business on August 5, 2025, at the CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi, will qualify the transferee to receive the declared dividend.
