Standard Worldwide Limited Transitions from Winding-Up to Non-Compliant Segment on PSX

Karachi: Standard Worldwide Limited (SWL), formerly known as Standard Insurance Company Limited, has made a pivotal shift from the "Winding-up Segment" to the "Non-Compliant Segment" of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), following a recent court order. This transition, effective July 31, 2025, comes after the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) withdrew a winding-up petition against the company.

The Hon'ble Court's order, dated July 21, 2025, confirmed the withdrawal of the petition, which was initially filed by the SECP. The court's decision rectifies SWL's non-compliance with clause 5.11.2.(b) of the PSX Regulations, prompting the company's shift from its previous status. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this development marks a significant moment in SWL's regulatory journey.

Despite the recent change, SWL remains listed in the "Non-Compliant Segment" due to ongoing non-compliance with several clauses of the PSX Regulations, specifically 5.11.1.(a), (b), (c), (e), and (g). Trading in SWL shares will continue to be suspended until these non-compliance issues are resolved.

This transition is closely monitored by stakeholders within the designated market category, as the company works toward addressing its regulatory challenges and achieving full compliance with PSX standards.
