Karachi: LSE Ventures Limited has announced a revision to its previously communicated book closure date for the issuance of bonus shares. The adjustment follows the approval of a 5% bonus share issuance, equating to five ordinary shares for every 100 shares held, by its shareholders during the company's Annual General Meeting on October 28, 2026.
The revision sees the book closure date shifted from November 3, 2026, to November 6, 2026. This change allows shareholders additional time to lodge transfers with the Share Registrar, M/s. F.D. Registrar Services Limited, located at Suit# 1705 17th Floor, Saima Trade Tower-A, LI. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Transfers submitted by the close of business on November 5, 2026, will be eligible for the bonus shares.
The bonus share issuance involves the capitalization of Rs. 101.52 million from the company's free reserves or retained earnings. This will result in the issuance of 20,304,240 ordinary shares with a nominal value of Rs. 5 each as fully paid bonus shares.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this move by LSE Ventures Limited is a strategic decision to utilize its retained earnings to reward its shareholders with additional equity. The designated market category for this issuance is reflected in the company's commitment to maintaining shareholder value through structured capital allocation.
The revised schedule emphasizes the company's intent to ensure that all eligible shareholders can partake in the bonus issuance, reinforcing its dedication to transparent and effective shareholder communication.
