Karachi: Buxly Paints Limited released its financial statements for the first quarter ending September 30, 2026, revealing a decrease in net sales alongside a reduction in net losses. According to the report dated October 30, 2026, the company experienced a decline in net sales to Rs. 118.84 million from Rs. 133.61 million during the same period last year. This represents a very large or significant move of -11.05% in sales.
The company's gross profit margin also saw a decline, recorded at 18.85% compared to 21.02% in the previous year. Despite these setbacks, Buxly Paints Limited managed to narrow its net loss after tax to Rs. 0.98 million, down from Rs. 1.42 million in the same quarter last year. This improvement is attributed to lower administrative and distribution expenses, along with an increase in other income, which helped mitigate the impact of reduced gross profit.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's loss per share improved to Rs. (0.68) from Rs. (0.98) in the corresponding period of the previous year. The directors' review emphasized the company's strategic efforts to manage operational costs and enhance income from other sources, which contributed to the improved financial performance despite the challenging sales environment.
