Lahore: In a strategic move to bolster its expansion capabilities, Air Link Communication Limited has announced plans to acquire industrial plots in the Sundar Green Special Economic Zone, Lahore. This development, disclosed on October 12, 2023, marks a significant investment in the company’s future growth and operational expansion.

The acquisition plan includes a 3-acre plot intended for Air Link Communication Limited and an additional 5-acre plot by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Select Technologies (Pvt.) Limited. The combined value of these acquisitions is pegged at PKR 572.00 million. This investment aims to support the company’s current and future expansion needs while also enabling it to avail all applicable benefits under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2012.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the move is aligned with the company's long-term strategy to strengthen its market position within the designated market category of technology and communications. This acquisition is expected to provide the necessary infrastructure for further technological advancements and increased production capacity.

The acquisition is in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Regulations. The company has communicated these developments to the TRE certificate holders of the exchange, reinforcing transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
