Ghani ChemWorld Limited Executives Transfer Shares to Original Allottees

Karachi: In a recent disclosure of interest, key executives and directors of Ghani ChemWorld Limited (GCWL) have executed a series of share transactions, transferring qualifying shares to their original allottees. This move is in line with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation No. 5.6.4, which mandates the disclosure of such activities by directors, CEOs, and substantial shareholders. The transactions were conducted on May 2, 2025.

The transactions involved the transfer of a single qualifying share each by several directors and executives of GCWL. Masroor Ahmad Khan, a director, transferred qualifying shares, bringing his cumulative shareholding to 896,716 shares, representing 0.35% of the company. Similarly, Atique Ahmad Khan, the CEO and a director, executed a similar transaction, maintaining the same cumulative shareholding and percentage.

Hafiz Farooq Ahmad, another director, transferred a qualifying share, resulting in a cumulative shareholding of 908,267 shares, which constitutes 0.36% of the company's total shares. Mrs. Rabia Atique, also a director, completed her transaction with a cumulative holding of 766,164 shares, or 0.30%.

Mrs. Saira Farooq, a director, transferred her qualifying share, resulting in a cumulative shareholding of 765,929 shares, accounting for 0.30% of GCWL. Hafiz Imran Lateef, another director, executed a transfer that left him with 251 shares, representing a minuscule 0.0001% of the company's shares. Lastly, Mr. Mahmood Ahmad, a director, transferred his qualifying share, bringing his total to 88,500 shares, or 0.03% of the company.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions are set to be presented in the upcoming board meeting of Ghani ChemWorld Limited. The meeting will also address any potential non-compliances under clause No. 5.6.1.(d) of the PSX Regulations.

The designated market category for Ghani ChemWorld Limited is yet to be specified, and the company has assured that the transactions will be duly highlighted for consideration, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
