IBL HealthCare Limited Reports Marginal Increase in Quarterly Revenue Amid Profit Decline

Karachi: The Board of Directors of IBL HealthCare Limited reported a slight increase in revenue for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, according to the company's quarterly report released on October 30, 2026. Revenue rose marginally to PKR 1,121.1 million from PKR 1,120.9 million in the same period last year, highlighting the company's steady performance in marketing, selling, and distributing healthcare and consumer products.

The company's gross profit margin saw a decline, falling to 35% from 36% the previous year. This reduction was attributed to the liquidation of slow-moving stock, a strategic move to free up cash for business operations. The released cash is expected to support working capital requirements and fund new product launches and brand development initiatives.

Profit before levies and income tax decreased to PKR 91.7 million from PKR 123.1 million reported in the same quarter last year. Profit after taxation also experienced a decline, standing at PKR 64.0 million compared to PKR 69.7 million in the previous year. The company noted that net operating expenses rose by 12%, reflecting strategic investments.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's finance cost decreased significantly by 82% to PKR 1.0 million. This drop was credited to lower policy rates and improved cash management, which provided some relief in the current economic environment.

IBL HealthCare Limited continues to focus on strategic investments and cash management to navigate the challenges of the current market landscape, ensuring sustainable growth for the future.
