IBL HealthCare Limited Reports Significant Revenue Growth Amid Strategic Portfolio Changes

Karachi: IBL HealthCare Limited has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2026, revealing a significant shift in its revenue streams and strategic business operations. The company, which held its Corporate Briefing Session on October 30, 2026, reported a net revenue of PKR 4.61 billion, marking a 7% growth compared to the previous fiscal year. This growth has been driven by the core operations of the company, particularly in its Nutrition and Medical and Surgical Disposables (MSD) business lines.

The financial highlights for FY2026 show a gross profit of PKR 1.64 billion with a profit before tax of PKR 401 million and a profit after tax amounting to PKR 220 million. The earnings per share stood at PKR 2.24, reflecting a 6% increase. The company has strategically exited certain discontinued portfolios, absorbing the associated costs, which has allowed it to focus on stronger performance in its continuing business operations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), IBL HealthCare Limited's consolidated revenue growth of 7% is a blend of a robust 15% increase in the continuing Nutrition and MSD business against the planned wind-down of portfolios that are no longer aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Breaking down the revenue by business line, the Nutrition segment saw a minor move with an increase from PKR 1,655 million in FY2025 to PKR 1,696 million in FY2026. The Sweetener and Beverages segment experienced a moderate move with a slight decline from PKR 621 million to PKR 605 million. In contrast, the Medical and Surgical Disposables line experienced a big move, growing from PKR 2,046 million to PKR 2,306 million.

The company's designated market category remains focused on leveraging its core business strengths while exiting non-strategic areas. This strategic realignment is evident in the company's financial performance, highlighting a future-oriented approach to business growth and sustainability.
