Rahim Yar Khan: JDW Sugar Mills Limited announced the official commencement of commercial operations at its newly established ethanol production facility on August 1, 2025. The facility, located in the district of Rahim Yar Khan, marks a significant development for the company as it diversifies its product offerings.

The ethanol project, situated in Mouza Peer Ahmedabad, Kot Sabzal, Tehsil Sadiqabad, has successfully completed a trial run lasting approximately 20 days. With a production capacity of 230,000 liters per day, the facility is equipped to produce export-grade ethanol derived from molasses. The project aims to enhance shareholder value by exploring new and profitable avenues.

The Board of Directors of JDW Sugar Mills Limited extended their gratitude to the employees, vendors, and management team for their dedication and efforts in bringing the project to fruition. Additionally, the board acknowledged the crucial support and cooperation of financial institutions, which played a pivotal role in achieving the commercial operation date.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the announcement aligns with the company's strategy to strengthen its market position and expand its business operations in the ethanol production sector.
